Scouts from the Oslo have had the time of their lives in Norfolk this
week. They travelled to Great Britain to camp with 5000 Scouts and
Guides from around the world at Norjam – the largest jamboree to have
taken place in the UK this year.
Seven enthusiastic Scout leaders braved the long journey to bring
thirteen young Scouts to Britain for a week of fun, friendship and
adventure. They are now on their flight on the way back to Norway,
having had a fantastic week.
There were 102 activities available to participants, including
go-karting, parascending, abseiling and international crafts. “I
enjoyed going to the amusement park and trying rafting,” said Frederik
Nordum.
For all of the Scouts from Norway it was their first camp in England,
although they have been to many camps in Norway.
As well as the Scouts from Oslo, there were participants from 17 other
